You and I are not the same. You’ve got your pain & I’ve got my pain. And recognising that fact, Is what keeps this whole thing intact. And I know, I can’t believe it till I see it for myself. Deep down below it’s stunting my growth to keep on questioning everything. What’s it all for? I think about it all the time. And it’s been playing on my mind again. I guess you never really know. So smash all your demons reconcile feelings sit back and let it go. Coz that’s ok. These days everything’s a war. Internal conflict, it’s the norm. So sick of fighting with yourself? And gaslighting everyone else? I think you know, You can’t defeat it till you realise where you stand. Owning your actions just to kill that toxic man. It’s been done before! I think about it all the time. And it’s been playing on my mind again. I guess you never really know. So smash all your demons reconcile feelings sit back and let it go. Coz that’s ok. We’re here to take away your pain, put love into your veins, put sugar on the brain. This river of ants, lines the path back, to sugar on the brain. If you’re left wanting more? If you’re looking for a cure? And nothing seems to change? It always stays the same? Put sugar on the brain. I think about it all the time. And it’s been playing on my mind again. I guess you never really know. So smash all your demons reconcile feelings sit back and let it go. Coz that’s ok.

I’ve got something to say to you my friend are you listening? I’ve got something you really need to hear, loud and clear. If not you then who? If not now then when? Time to vanquish all these demons dressed as business men. Protest, Protest, all ignored Protest, Protest, all ignored Protest, Protest, all ignored Protest protest protest protest Feeling like we need to overthrow you. Yes it’s time, you really need to go. You’re so! You’re so! You’re so cruel! and you don’t even know. My mind is set to explode! ..and the worst is yet to come. ..and you’re still staring at the sun? Hey glass eyes, what is your prize, stuck on repeat, you’re the stain on the bedsheet. Mouth is open, mind is dead, can’t put back together anything you’ve said. So much money but theres no sense. Where’s the rhyme and reason in any of this? Protest, Protest, all ignored Protest, Protest, all ignored Protest protest protest protest Feeling like we need to overthrow you. Yes it’s time, you really need to go. You’re so! You’re so! You’re so cruel! and you don’t even know. My mind is set to explode! ..and the worst is yet to come. ..and you’re still staring at the sun?

It’s complicated to say the least! Its oh so fucking tough. It’s just like pulling teeth out from your own gums. I tell myself to keep calm, carry on. Don’t want to slip into oblivion past the point of no return. Hold tight, they tell you all the time. Tonight could be the night the stars align. Hold tight, as you fly towards the sun. Tonight you’re gonna find that smoking gun. I see you’re burning at both ends again, long into the night, and you’re supposed to be alright. Forever the rock for somebody else. I think it’s time you check yourself. Time to crown the queen LIVE THE DREAM! Hold tight, they tell you all the time. Tonight could be the night the stars align. Hold tight, as you fly towards the sun. Tonight you’re gonna find that smoking gun. I see you’re burning at both ends again, long into the night, and you’re supposed to be alright. Hold tight. Just hold tight. Hold tight, they tell you all the time. Tonight could be the night the stars align. Hold tight, as you fly towards the sun. Tonight you’re gonna find that smoking gun.

Winnebago 02:32
I know that we just met but I can’t get you from my head that hooks sunk down deep inside of me Woah oh. And you look like you’re sweating bullets babe forever always, under the pump, the pressure fest, trying to keep up with western dreams. Just climb aboard my Winnebago. (Let’s go! Let’s go!) Let’s chase the sun beyond the edges of our dreams. Just climb aboard my Winnebago. Baby let’s go! Anywhere that you’d prefer to be. I’ll light the fire baby you call in that bomb threat. The champagnes primed to be “sabraged” with winnebago keys. Let’s ride that fridge into the sunset! Woah oh oh oh. I’m just reaching out to ask if you’ll be the Thelma to my Louise. Just climb aboard my Winnebago. (Let’s go! Let’s go!) Let’s chase the sun beyond the edges of our dreams. Just climb aboard my Winnebago. Baby let’s go! Anywhere that you’d prefer to be. It’s 1 o’clock in the afternoon, and you’ve got those 3.30 blues. So tired of putting pen to paper. Forever facilitating someone else’s dreams. I think it’s time we met our maker. Let’s go take a hammer to that corporate glass ceiling. Stuck down deep underneath the weight of expectations, force fed like a Foie Gras goose strapped to the teat of society. And then just when your on the precipice of something good you find yourself pinned to the vision board of old fat white man industries SO! Just climb aboard my Winnebago. (Let’s go! Let’s go!) Let’s chase the sun beyond the edges of our dreams. Just climb aboard my Winnebago. Baby let’s go! Anywhere that you’d prefer to be.

Heart beats beyond the skin. That champagne tide inside is rising up It’s overflowing, running down my spine. Just got to get this head in the right place: the right space to overcome. Set the chainsaw to that self doubt. Watch it hit the ground. (Give up! Give up! Give up!) Smash that voice inside! (Give up! Give up! Give up!) Every single night! (Give up! Give up! Give up!) I’m taking all the chances as they come (Hitting back, with all the weight!) I’m never giving up. (Give up! Give up! Give up!) I wasn’t made for this, I’m a square peg in a round hole. Guess I lost my way and fell right through that door. I might believe the things you say if they sounded true but every single word seems to be held together with sticks and glue and I don’t believe you. (Give up! Give up! Give up!) Smash that voice inside! (Give up! Give up! Give up!) Every single night! (Give up! Give up! Give up!) I’m taking all the chances as they come (Hitting back, with all the weight!) I’m never giving up. (Give up! Give up! Give up!) Feels like you’re suffocating. Feeling so unsure. They’re beating down your door! They’re coming through your walls! It feels so complicated. Too heavy to sink in. They’re beating down your door! They’re coming through your walls! (Give up! Give up! Give up!) Smash that voice inside! (Give up! Give up! Give up!) Every single night! (Give up! Give up! Give up!) I’m taking all the chances as they come (Hitting back, with all the weight!) I’m never giving up. (Give up! Give up! Give up!)

about

Public Fun - Part 2 is the sequel to the band's debut body of work of the same theme: Public Fun - Part 1 (launched June 2023). The EP was co-recorded and produced by Greg Rietwyk (of Press Club) and Jon Grace.

Designed as the rock and roll equivalent to a day spa, its five tracks blend potent lyricism with the band’s trademark punk-powered instrumentation to create a space for true escapism. It’s a release that puts the listener firmly in control, offering that one, fabled chance to say “yes”, grab your destiny by the horns, and drive off, Thelma and Louise-style, into the sunset.

There’s a strong sense of camaraderie underpinning this release. A relentless call to arms, it offers everything needed - the ammunition, sounds, and instructions - for taking aim at everything getting you down, regardless of what’s at stake.

So - grab a bunch of your best mates, pour yourself a drink, and make some big plans. It’s time to chuck caution in the bin, have a bit of public fun, and leave the whole world in your wake.
